JOAN MANUEL SERRAT.

THE BEATLES. LETRAS Y ACORDES

THE BEATLES

caricatura-the-beatles

  Beatles, Beatles, Beatles.

Enriquecedoramente.

So Long Marianne, The Partisan, Suzanne, Take this Waltz. First we take Manhattan, o la inconmensurable retahíla de grandisimas canciones de Ten New Songs.

reunimos nuestros corazones y vamos
a mil besos de profundidad.

 (A Thousand Kisses Deep)

Ladies and Gentlemen…Mr Leonard Cohen.

BOB DYLAN. ACORDES Y LETRAS CON TRADUCCION

Bob Dylan caricatura

 http://www.goddylan.com/Letras.htm

Nadie siente dolor alguno

 (Just Like A Woman)

JOAQUIN SABINA LETRAS Y ACORDES

FIRMA SABINA

Conocí a Joaquín Sabina hace muchísimos años.

And they decide who gets the breaks

And who’s going to be in the gallery

And now all the vultures are coming down from the tree

So he’s going to be in the gallery

All day long

And when the church bell rung

I stayed out on the tower

In a dying sun

Now come on woman, come follow me home

Well I don’t no priest

But I love all of the people

Yes I share the feast

Si I drick up my wine

Yes and the song in my bones

I know the way

I can see by the moonlight

Clear as the day

Now come on woman, come follow me home

Well I have tried to be meek

And I have tried to be mild

But I spat like a woman

   And sulked like a child

   I have lived behind walls

   That have made me alone

   Striven for peace

   Which I have never known

And I can still hear his laughter

And I can still hear his song

   The man’s too big

   The man’s too strong

Well the sun rose on the courtyard

And they all did hear him say

   ‘You always were a Judas

   But I got you anyway

You may have got your silver

But I swear upon my life

   Your sister gave me diamonds

And I gave them to your wife’

   Oh father please help me

   For I have done wrong

One World

Mark Knopfler

-Originally released on Brothers in Arms-

Can’t find no sleeves for my records

Can’t get no laces for my shoes

Can’t get no fancy notes

On my blue guitar

Can’t get no antidote for blues

Can’t find the reasons for your actions

Or I don’t much like the reasoning you use

Somehow your motives are impure

Or somehow I can’t find the cure

Can’t find no antidote for blues

They say it’s mostly vanity

That writes the plays we act

They tell me that’s what everybody knows

There’s no such thing as sanity

And that’s the sanest fact

That’s the way the story goes

Can’t get no remedy on my TV

There’s nothing but the same old news

They can’t find a way to be

One world in harmony

Can’t get no antidote for blues

Buying bread from a man in Brussels

He was six foot four and full of muscles

I said, «Do you speak-a my language?»

He just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich

And he said,

«I come from a land down under

Where beer does flow and men chunder

Can’t you hear, can’t you hear the thunder

You better run, you better take cover.»

Lying in a den in Bombay

With a slack jaw, and not much to say

I said to the man, «Are you trying to tempt me

Because I come from the land of plenty?»

And he said

«Oh! Do you come from a land down under? (oh yeah yeah)

Where women glow and men plunder?

Can’t you hear, can’t you hear the thunder?

You better run, you better take cover.»

A hundred miles, a hundred m[Am]iles, a hundred m[Dm]iles, a hundred m[Dm7]iles,

I hear the drizzle of the rain,       like a memory it falls

G               D/F#     G     C                      Am      Gsus   D        G

I gaze beyond the rain-drenched streets,    To England where my heart lies

(Hereճ where it goes to Dsus)

My mindճ distracted and diffused,     my thoughts are many miles away

They lie with you when youղe asleep,     and kiss you when you start your day

And a song I was writing is left undone       I donմ know why I spend my time

Writing songs I canմ believe     With words that tear and strain to rhyme

(Back to Dsus)

And so you see I have come to doubt      All that I once held as true

I stand alone without beliefs                   The only truth I know is you

And as I watch the drops of rain                            Weave their weary paths and die

I know that I am like the rain                  There but for the grace of you go I

Sounds of Silence

Paul Simon

H[Am]ello darkness my old fri[G]end,

I’ve come to talk with you ag[Am]ain.

Because a vi[C]sion softl[F]y creep[C]ing

Left it’s seed while I w[F]as sleep[C]ing,

And the vis[F]ion that was planted in my br[C]ain

Still rem[Am]ains

Wit[C]hin the s[G]ounds of si[Am]lence.

In restless dreams I walked alone,

Narrow streets of cobble stone.

‘Neath the halo of a street lamp,

I turned my collar to the cold and damp,

When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light

That split the night

And touched the sounds of silence.

And in the naked light I saw

Ten thousand people, maybe more.

People talking without speaking,

People hearing without listening,

People writing songs that voices never shared,

And no one dared

Disturb the sounds of silence.

«Fools!» said I, «you do not know,

Silence like a cancer grows.

Hear my words that I might teach you,

Take my arms that I might reach you.»

But my words like silent raindrops fell…

And echoed in the wells of silence.

And the people bowed and prayed

To the neon gods they made.

And the sign flashed out its warning,

In the words that it was forming,

And the sign said, «The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls

And tenement halls.»

And whispered in the sounds of silence.
